
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Assembly will meet from September 26. The Cabinet recommended convening of the session to the Governor on Wednesday.
The House will consider Bill to amend the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board Act besides full budgetary demands for grants for this year. The amendment proposes changes in the structure of the Devaswom Recruitment Board.
The Cabinet approved the decision to extend the services of government doctors, who were to retire on May 31, by six months. The extension period will not be considered for any service benefits.
It also approved extension of services of doctors who were due for retirement between June and October till November 30.
It sanctioned of 56 posts of teachers and two lab assistants for additional batches sanctioned to 12 government higher secondary schools that started functioning in 2012-13.
It approved the proposal for pay revision of KSFE employees with effect from August 1, 2012.
Special assistance of Rs. 1000 will be sanctioned to pensioned aganwadi workers and helpers.
The Cabinet cleared the appointment of N. A. Sirshah, Anisha S. Panicker, K. K. Nimmi, M. K. Balram and Indu P. Raj as munsif magistrates.
