Kerala effects major reshuffle of collectors and top officials

Thiruvananthapuram: The government is undertaking a major reshuffle of collectors and top officials.

The Cabinet decided to appoint new collectors for 12 districts on Wednesday. The following are the new collectors:

Thiruvananthapuram- S. Venkitesapathi
Kollam- T. Mitra
Pathanamthitta- R. Girija
Alappuzha- Veena Madhavan
Kottayam- C. A. Latha
Idukki- G. R. Gokul
Ernakulam- K. Muhammed Safirulla
Thrissur- A Kausikan
Malappuram- A. Shainamol
Wayanad- B. S. Thirumeni
Kannur- Mirmuhammed Ali
Kasaragod- Jeevan Babu

The postings of the IAS officers are the following:

Biju Prabhakar- Director of Agriculture
P. Balakiran- Director of IT Mission
S. Harikishor- Executive Director of Kudumbasree
M. G. Rajamanikyam- Managing Director, Kerala Finance Corporation with additional charge of Additional Excise Commissioner

V, Ratheesan- Director of Panchayats with additional charge of Director of MNREGS Mission

Kesavendra Kumar- Director of National Health Mission with additional charge of Food Safety Commissioner and Director of Social Justice

E. Devadasan- Director of Survey and Land Records, with additional charge of Inspector General of Registration.
