96.59 per cent pass in Kerala SSLC examinations

Thiruvananthapuram: The pass percentage in SSLC Examination this year is 96.59 per cent.

As many as 1207 schools achieved cent per cent pass (eligibility for higher studies) in the examinations. The number of students with A+ grade went up to 22879.

The pass percentage this year was about two per cent less than last year. The highest pass percentage was in Pathanamthitta district and lowest in Wayanad district.

Director of Public Instruction M. S. Jaya said that certificates to students who wrote the examinations would be issued on May 4. SAY examination for failed students would be held from May 23 to 27.
