Thiruvananthapuram: SNDP leader Vellappally Natesan announced his new political party, Bharath Dharma Jana Sena, at the conclusion of the Samatwa Munnetta Yatra here on Saturday.
Speaking at the valedictory meeting organised on the Shangumugham beach, Mr. Natesan said that the establishment of Hindu nation was not the objective of the party. “I am not against any community.”
He said that the both KPCC president V. M. Sudheeran and Opposition Leader V. S. Achuthanandan were persons who harmed their community. Mr. Achuthananandan was misusing his position.
His son, Tushar Vellappally challenged Mr. Achuthanandan to prove that they had swindled any funds collected under mincrofinance scheme. He said that the new party would come to power.
Meanwhile former ISRO chairman G. Madhavan Nair, who was patron of the Yatra, did not attend the valedictory.
