Government to hold talks with endosulfan victims

Thiruvananthapuram: The Government will hold discussions with endosulfan victims and their mothers on hunger strike before the Secretariat on Friday.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy agreed to hold talks after Opposition Leader V. S. Achuthanandan talked to him after visiting those on hunger strike.  He spent some time with the victims.

Mr. Achthuthanandan said that he would join the hunger strike if the demands of the victims were not met.

He will be attending the talks on Friday.
