Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday decided to recommend to the Governor the convening of the Assembly from November 30.
The session will be mainly devoted to legislative business and passing of supplementary demands for grants.
The Cabinet also decided to disburse all welfare pensions through banks from next month.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police arrested and removed doctors of the General Hospital here who launched a flash strike and picketted the office of the Director of Health Services here over suspension of a doctor for alleged negligence leading to death of a patient, .
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the media after a meeting of the Cabinet that the government had directed the arrest of the doctors after Cabinet discussed the issue.The government would deal with the strike stronly.

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday demanded action against Delhi Police officials who raided Kerala House premises on Monday over the allegation that its canteen was serving cow’s meat.
In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister urged him to instruct the Union Home Minister to take stringent action against those responsible for trespassing into the premises of the State Government property and ensure that this kind of incidents does not occur again.
