Mobile based audio services to families about pregnancy

J. P. Nadda inaugurating the new IT-enabled OPD registry block, at AIIMSUnion Health Ministry has announced an audio-based mobile service that delivers weekly audio messages to families about pregnancy, child birth and child care.

Each pregnant woman and infant’s mother, registered in Mother and Child Tracking System (MCTS), a web- enabled system to monitor and ensure delivery of full spectrum of services to all pregnant women and children, will receive weekly voice messages relevant to the stage of pregnancy or age of the infant.

Kummanam takes charge as BJP State chief

Opposition walk-out over demand for enquiry into reduction of fire licence fee

Government side said a firm no to the demand for probe by Assembly Committee.

Pay revision to be announced in January or February next year

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the Assembly today that the pay revision for government employees would be announced at the end of January or early in February next year.

Replying to the notice for adjournment motion given by A. K. Balan (CPI-M) alleging delay in implementation of revision, the Chief Minister said that the government was committed to time bound implementation of the recommendations. There was no need for the employees to go on strike for pay revision.
