Thiruvananthapuram: The government has banned distribution and sale of a dozen medicines which were found to be lacking in quality.
An official release said here on Friday that these medicines should be recalled from the market and details submitted to district drug control offices.
The following were the name, batch number and manufacturer of the medicines:
Fixobact- 250 (cephalexin IP), b650940, Cipla Ltd, v ill, Tanda mallu, Kashipur road, Ram Nainital, Uttarakhand.
